Customs & Immigration Clearances
U.S. yacht arrival and departure coordination with CBP, including customs and immigration clearance, cruising license assistance, I-94 support, and crew documentation.
Overview
Clearing into the United States means getting the vessel, crew and guests through U.S. Customs and Border Protection with the right documents, at the right time. American Yacht Agents coordinates that process from arrival through departure, so captains and crew can stay focused on the vessel and guests.

Good to know
Requirements vary
What a vessel needs to clear in depends on the vessel, its flag, its last port and the people on board. Send your details early and AYA will confirm what applies to your arrival.
Cruising licenses
CBP issues cruising licenses to pleasure yachts from countries that give U.S. yachts the same privilege. A license lets an eligible yacht cruise between U.S. ports without formally entering and clearing at each one.
Official hours
AYA is available 24/7 to coordinate your arrival or departure. Vessel movements, entry and clearance are handled by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and each port operates on its own hours and availability.
How it works
Send your details
Send your registry, arrival port, dates, and services needed. Your AYA agent reviews the request and confirms the plan.
We coordinate your port call
We manage required filings and clearance coordination, and line up the rest of your port call as needed.
Arrive with support in place
Your port call is coordinated before arrival, and our team remains available 24/7 for changes, clearances, and time-sensitive requests.
